We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our bike shop team as a Customer Service Representative with some Marketing Experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for bicycles or is willing to learn, excellent communication skills, and a background in marketing. Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to all bike shop visitors, both in person and over the phone.
Assist customers in selecting the right products and services based on their needs and preferences.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of bikes, accessories, and related services to effectively communicate their features and benefits.
Conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and managing inventory systems.
Utilize marketing skills to promote bike shop products and services through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and in-store promotions.
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring all products are properly displayed and stocked.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Assist in the planning and coordination of special events, such as bike rides, workshops, and community outreach programs.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, products, and technologies to provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and warranty claims promptly and professionally, striving to achieve customer satisfaction.
Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment by working closely with colleagues and sharing knowledge and insights.
Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service and sales, preferably in a retail environment.
Previous experience in marketing, including experience with social media management, email marketing, and promotional campaigns.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and build lasting relationships.
Proficiency in using iOS systems and other relevant software applications.
Passion for bicycles and knowledge of different bike types, accessories, and maintenance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Flexible schedule and including weekends.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in marketing or related field is a plus.
